Hoosier
ORD made it to at least 95. I gotta admit I didn't think they had any shot at 96 but they came close if not making it. Might not bode well for my conservative numbers later this week. Hopefully there's a lot of rain in the next day or two...I need some standing water to take away a couple degrees. BowMeHunter
What's this detox you speak of? 1 can (12oz) minute maid frozen limeade concentrate 12 fluid ounces tequila - measured with empty limeade can 1/4 cup Cointreau 1 quart of ice - just fill the blender basically and blend until smooth. Moisten glass rim with lime and salt. I make that in two batches or half the recipe.. easy and delicious. I add a nip of tequilla to the glass before I pour mine... Imagine that. Detox day after. That sounds pretty good. For our area I'm thinking 95 tomorrow and Tuesday, 97 Wednesday, 98 Thursday, and 95 Friday depending on how the front evolves. Chicago Storm
Both the 0z GFS and NAM are showing a 96 for ORD tomorrow... Clearly is dependent on how convective debris evolves, so we'll see how that works out.

Gino
Heat advisories were just added for the SE Wisconsin lakeshore counties, which didn't previously have them. I feel bad that Chicago has a rule that they can't issue heat advisories. It is appropriate with this type of heat to at least have some headlines. NWS Chicago actually does issue heat advisories for Cook Co and the city of Chicago, but the criteria is a heat index of 105 degrees, which was not reached today.
