snowlord81
KIND has both me and the Laf crew at 100 degrees again today. Would that be the 1st back to back days since when? 1988 or back in the 30's? In any case, were a degree behind this hour from yesterday. But im a degree ahead according to my temp gauage.
Chicago Storm
not sure if the heat headlines will be nec. for Cook and DuPage. Probably not. We're only sitting at about 70 with a least 1 hour of rain left and then cloud cover for a while.

Chicago Storm
Clouds are starting to break/thin out west, so we'll probably push into the 80's. The morning MCS kept us from making another run into the mid 90's.
Chicago WX
96 at 1PM, same as yesterday at the same time. Storms will miss north so we should be close to if not record another 100 today.

The morning MCS kept us from making another run into the mid 90's. Depending on MCS potential, Sat/Sun have the potential to be in the low-mid 90's too. We'll see how things go... BowMeHunter
Looks like the Big Heat Wave of 2011 here will go down with highs of 95-95-85-98-94 and today is to be determined as we sit in the 70's and clouds. Will we have another heat wave tracking weenie fest before the summer is through?

Hoosier
Got outflowed in the past 20 minutes and temp is down to 84. Had 97 at the top of the hour but I doubt there was enough time to sneak 100.
BowMeHunter
cleared out nice.. wonder if we have enough time to make a run at 90?
TimChgo9
We are sitting at 77/70 under mostly cloudy skies right now. Giving the AC a break. It actually turned off for a an hour or two, as the temp inside the house actually got down to 74. Couldn't get the house below 78 yesterday, and that was just just the main floor. The upstairs bedroom was 86 degrees, because the windows face west, and when the sun comes 'round the west side of the house, it hits that bedroom window for several hours during the afternoon, and even though I have reflective material and whatever covering the window, it still gets very warm in there. Can't wait for this to go away...
BowMeHunter
Sadly the euro looks pretty warm and tropical a lot of the run. Pray for clouds and rain to bring some temporary relief to locations.

beavis1729
A bit OT for our region...but Philadelphia hit 104 today, and Newark 108. It was 108/69 at 3PM EDT in Newark, for a HI of 117. It was 107/74 at 4PM EDT in Baltimore (Inner Harbor), for a HI of 121...with calm winds! Just miserable.
Powerball
Made it to 95*F before the storms. Apparently we were under a severe thunderstorm watch but it was dropped fairly quickly.

cyclone77
Early morning storms and clouds kept us cooler today. Did make a late run at 90 but fell just short. Dews are back up into the middle 70s though.

Indystorm
82/74 feels wonderful compared to what it has been here in Michiana. Earlier svr storms hit south and east of me and I got nice cooler air, however temporarily.
Chicago Storm
Up to 85 here with mostly sunny skies. Might make a run at 90, but we'll probably fall short. Ended up hitting 90. 6th consecutive 90+ day.
cyclone77
24hr RUC has the QC up near 100 again tomorrow afternoon with 850mb temps around 23C. I think we may make another run at the upper 90s if the clouds/lingering precip stay away. Edit: Dewpoint up to 77 now. Feels pretty mucky out there even though it's only 86.
