OSUmetstud
At least here in the northeast conus the euro year after year builds ridiculous heat in here in the 3-7 day time range only to back off in the short term. I've seen more +24c euro 850 temp forecasts than I care to remember. It's one of the Euro's biggest biases here in these parts. yeah I've seen a number of times it had those type of temps in the mid to long range this year while the GFS was better in keeping the Nova Scotia low established and the heat further south and west. Do you have the numbers for the hottest day last summer at NYC and JFK (NYC hit 103 and JFK hit 102) as well as their numbers for those days in 1966 (JFK 104) and 1977 (NYC 104) that you mentioned or point me to where I can find them? I also wanted to see the ones for July 5, 1999 I think it was (JFK 102 NYC 101) and July 9-10, 1993 (JFK 100-101, NYC 101-102) Thanks!

ski MRG
Yeah a nice cool day...sure it was Yes , it was. Very little sun, a steady breeze temps in the low 70's at 2k, 77 here. Do you dispute that? You'll get your hot two or three days eventually and then we'll be done. The downhill slide has already begun.
