Heh, 18z NAM has 22C 850's by thursday afternoon.

The Euro ensembles get near 24C Thu into Fri too...widespread > 22C swath over SNE. I'm pretty much banking on 22C at this point which gets the torch zones into 95-100...maybe the ASH-FIT-BAF-BDL hot spots push 101-102. It's still a few dayd out though. It feels a little weird to be talking 100F+ temps 4 days out in New England.

Keeping with the tone of Scooter's calendar fetish, my sis and mom must have been looking through old fam albums on Sunday and all of a sudden, I get txt a pic of a snowpack measurement from Feb 1994.......she was killing me lol

Ray in his old Bruins jacket... Scooter looking for a piece of strapping

lol Will, I guess it's not the same as measuring 23-24 inches of snow, but historic nonetheless :P

Has your area ever hit 100?

The old ORH site hit 102F in July 1911, but its never hit 100F at the current site. Last summer hit 96F which was the hottest temp here since 1975.

I just looked back at some old pics of PDII as well. I'll have to scan those.

FYI, the GFS now has a low-level warm bias for the NH compared to the Euro.

At least here in the northeast conus the euro year after year builds ridiculous heat in here in the 3-7 day time range only to back off in the short term.

I've seen more +24c euro 850 temp forecasts than I care to remember.

It's one of the Euro's biggest biases here in these parts.
