Cool, so newarks low was their average high.

But this isn't earth shattering :(

I know that is a shot at me. I never once said that for Newark this isn't amazing. I have said all along that Newark's readings are super impressive and will continue to be today & tomorrow. All along I was referring to NYC. I played softball in downtown Manhattan yesterday and it was not as memorable or shocking as some would make it out to be. There was a gusty breeze all throughout the city and it was nowhere near unbearable. I have been out in way worse than that by a long shot numerous times over the years. I will not deny though that today is impressive and yes I'll admit, for just today, historic for everyone no doubt and I had said this about today all along. I cannot say the same about yesterday which with that gusty breeze IMBY and in NYC that was happening all day long wasn't so bad and we'll see about tomorrow.

^^ I was totally playing...wasn't meant to be a shot at you. Just poking some fun.

I'm still waiting for the two heatwaves I forecasted to verify.

I know. It's all good. Just making it clear what my impression of all this is. Anyone who couldn't handle yesterday hasn't really been through many heat waves. The day of (or the days leading up to) the last NYC blackout was way worse than yesterday IMO. Today though is probably on par with that no doubt and probably worse.

Edit: getting my time periods confused wasn't the blackout, was a stretch of days in August 2005. 8/13 stands out.

You must have a rather strong constitution, then. :weight_lift:

1PM guesses? EWR 105? 102 at the Park? Just my own estimates. It's almost time! :scooter:

People handle heat differently I guess. Just relaying my honest opinion. The gusty breezes made a huge difference yesterday regardless of what the HI and temperature was.
