Was Tuesday hotter for you than Tuesday last week? We hit 98 then lol. Where is this damned hot airmass that was being advertized :P This is nothing like the big ones from 1993, 1999 and 2010.

It only got up 87 F in Islip but the dewpoints are 73-75 F which the heat index did get up to the 93-96 F here and that still felt quite impressive and I believe the cloud cover and SSW winds save us here from the real extreme heat but tomorrow will get well into 90's and depending on the wind direction how high the dewpoints will be will determine on the heat indexs and will get to at least near 100 F here.
