easily one of the most impressive environments I've seen in my lifetime...

0-6km shear-50kts

SBCAPE-9000 j/kg

sup composite-36

sig tor-6

thetae-398 (and pooling just south of the supercell)

Coincidently it weakend right as it moved out of the SRH pocket. I have a feeling ND will be the prime target for sevre the next few weeks.

Thing maxed out at 171kt gate-to-gate with a massive debris ball...that can't be just dirt being picked up...

post-97-0-35080300-1310946378.png

Hopfully just trees and maybe some cows that were going to be slaughtered anyway.

Now comes the hard part, waiting for the outside chance it gets confirmed an EF5.

Actually looking at things a bit now, if anything thats going on currently gets to us down here, it will be the storms/complex in northern WI that will continue southeastward until it hits the instability gradient and follow that southward into southern WI/northern IL. These things in situations like this sometimes travel to the right a bit of the mean wind as well.
