Storm hit here in Sharpsburg about 6pm. It rolled in from the Northeast...put down 1/2 inch rain in about 20 minutes. It POURED and we had hail. I guesstimate the wind gusts at least 40-50+ miles per hour. Took down a tree across the street and made a mess of my vegetable garden. Towards the end of the storm the winds shifted to the south in a really weird way. Lots of loud thunder and lightening. Best storm so far this summer here.

sheets of rain at Duffields with blinding lighting and thunder.

my husband said 2 tshowers so far this afternoon in Martinsburg.

All of yesterday's activity missed me here: to the east, west, north and south. Not by much, but can't complain after having been bullseyed so many times this year.
