North Balti Zen
BWI up to 94. 95 in downtown Baltimore with a HI of 103. Toasty. Hoping for some pop-ups to cut into the heat a tad.
mattie g
Not unusual, it's an indicator to me that the DP is high that's all. Gotcha. It seems that we have dew on our windows at least a couple times a week in the summer. I always know how it's going to feel pretty sticky on the dog's morning constitutional when I see that. North Balti Zen
A rumble of thunder and some lightning over downtown Baltimore.
North Balti Zen
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK, that was loud It was indeed frisky loud. Decent lightning with it as well. First time I have really had a storm approach from the northwest so I could get a good view of it up on the 20th floor since I started working downtown last October. First time I have really had a storm approach from the northwest so I could get a good view of it up on the 20th floor since I started working downtown last October. I had just gotten off the phone when my entire cube was filled with light (my back faces towards the northwest) I didn't even have time to turn around when the thunder cracked. One of my coworkers let out a shriek... wasn't expecting that all.

Kmlwx
Anyone think we get a watch posted for central MD? Doesn't really seem widespread enough to warrant at this point at least. Don't see any mesoscale discussion yet either.

North Balti Zen
Anyone think we get a watch posted for central MD? Looks pretty limited on radar to me, and just seems like a garden variety summer shower with a few claps of thunder. Altho I just saw a wicked cloud to ground hit just a few blocks from me. ETA: Up near mapgirl's set of blocks, actually.
