Saw that this morning... a little leery of it this far south. Looks more like an overnight threat as PA gets the brunt of it this afternoon/evening. I may go north to chase if it looks good later.

Yeah, I looked at the models after I saw the overnight outlook. IF No.MD sees anything, it would be overnight... as you said.

I am in Morgantown and it is so hard to see in the distance because of the haze.

AC on 72 ... comfortable inside and with blinds closed I can only see about 10'... no haze ....

looks like records fall late week... NWS PTP for Winchester has Th-Sun 100 / 103 / 99 / 99 ... lows in upper 70's ... yuck I am ready for fall

Thunderstorm Watch issued for central WV including my area until 1AM.

625 PM EDT MON JUL 18 2011

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

SOUTHERN OHIO

CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA

EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING FROM 625 PM UNTIL

100 AM EDT.

HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70

MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS OVER OH WILL SPREAD

SOUTHEASTWARD THROUGH THE EVENING AND ACROSS THE WATCH AREA. HIGH

BOUNDARY-LAYER THETA-E AND STEEP LOW LEVEL LAPSE RATES...COUPLED

WITH SUFFICIENT FLOW ALOFT WILL PROMOTE A RISK OF LOCALLY DAMAGING

WIND GUSTS IN THE STRONGER CELLS.
