weatherwiz
It takes you almost a full day to get to ORH, if I were you, I'd leave for Syracuse now. I wonder how much bus tickets to Syracuse cost?
CT Rain
what does your gut say in this set up ryan. kinda reminds me in the simpsons movie when the man asks mr. burns for help and ask's him to look into his heart (like that would be a good thing ...while smithers starts shaking his head) 25 and clouds appear to be thickening . I think it cuts west to be honest. Some interior spots see snow and ice but who cares... most of us get zilch.
OKpowdah
Long long ways to go with this one. GFS is very inconsistent, so no single run can be taken to heart, and no run to run trend can be embraced either, so we are left with ... waiting. 40/70 Benchmark
I don't see the funny part, was that an incorrect statement? I thought you were fecetiously mocking those who have been saying that through 3 days of cutter soloutions.....that is correct, but something needs to change QUICKLY, and I don't see that happening.....a 2ndary will mean some ice in the interior and a slightly cooler rain here, which i couldn't care less about. HIPPYVALLEY
I've enjoyed reading all the posts today. I'll wait until wednesday to start feeling any sense of pessimism. Last season made me too jaded to worry about models this far out even though there is some consensus. Glad the cold is here at least. In this type of pattern and set up is it possible to see another scenario like last year when it was snowing down to New Orleans and raining in Portland, Maine? ORH_wxman
Looks like the GFS ensembles are a bit east of 18z...bring it over W MA instead of E NY. Not that it really is much different for sensible wx in that setup.
