skierinvermont
Hopefully models don't lose the NYE ball and have that still stuck at day 10 come March. Yep.. I am about to make reservations for the 27-29 for 3 friends and I and the Euro is giving me pause. They have very little now, most of which could be washed away by the 13th. That gives them just over a week to get enough snow for the holiday ski season.

Logan11
Euro sounds a bit extreme. I have seen it go crazy and try to close off 5H lows in the northern stream way west before..... That said.....probably the best case would be a solution like the Canadian. I think the idea of a snowstorm up I-95 is pretty much dead. The only positive that i have is that its 150hrs out........ CoastalWx
I haven't seen the EURO but I do not like what you are saying, haha. Are we in for another cutter? Please tell the Reverand to make it track east of us. I'd like to see all this snow stick around... winter storm warnings now flying on BTV's update. Plows are out and its coming down. Problem is this stuff is pure fluff and air... any sort of rain/warmth in a cutter scenario would wipe out the 6" in my yard in a blink of an eye. Well at least you get upslope..lol. Still time for you up in VT. No need to go handlebars just yet.
dryslot
This would be a huge kick in the gonads if this run was to verify, Snow flurries with the clipper on friday and a SE wind driven rainstorm on monday............

weatherwiz
I'm whining. It worked yesterday....what the he**. Maybe the weather Gods will feel sorry for us and just make something work for once. All I know is I can't wait to we finally see a stretch of sick winters...it has to happen sooner rather than later, early to mid 90's was pretty sick, early to mid 2000's had some pretty sick years...hopefully we aren't entering a decade stretch like the 80's though. CoastalWx
It literally takes the airmass from Sable Island and backs it up to Lake Superior. Insane. We stay cold in sne.
40/70 Benchmark
Man the block is incredible. Another storm backing up into caribou. I'll bet if someone researched, you wouldn't be able to come up with a year so extensively filled with "incredible blocks" and such exotically anomalous soloution upon exotically anomalous soloution failing to snow in this area. Serious post.....it seems as though every third day mets are in awe of how extraordinary the pattern is and it is always cross haired on an anomaly that precludes snow in this neck of the woods; frustration is almost succumbing to awe, at this point. Damage In Tolland
It's not one run. It's the whole 12z suite. It is one model run..The Euro..Ukie/GGEM were both much colder..as were last night's Euro ens. GFS is discarded at this time frame.
weatherwiz
On his audio broadcast. I think he sees sub-surface warming... Well given the insane trade burst we saw occur yesterday any sub-sfc warming may be short-lived Looks like we may see some more cooling occur over the next week. We've seen the Nino weekies really drop over the past few weeks, went from -1.3C to -1.6C in just a matter of weeks.

There's no sense in complaining about something you have zero control over. Especially when its over something that is far from certain to occur (i.e. a 144 hour deterministic solution)
