looks like a hot one today down to the coast!

What's your high so far?

And what's your rainfall total for the last three days? I have 0.40+0.55+0.13 after midnight last night for a total of 1.08 over the last three days.

Yup, the same here, but nothing like what happened during this period back in July 1993 :P

with the breeze and low humidity it feels like 75, not 90. And its July 8th, this weather is by no means shocking. Above normal, yes, but its not setting any records or turning any heads.

No, this is actually awesome weather, I love low 90s with low humidity.

plus, accounting for climate change, normals are probably 1-2 degrees too low, so 87-89 is probably closer to normal and thus we are 1-2 above. Same thing with winter, lows and highs are probably too low and should be bumped up to account for global temperature increases.

I remember what happened in July 1993 like it was yesterday-- that ended on the weekend too-- and the last day the low temp was in the mid 80s and it was already 90 by 8:30 AM here and rising like 4-5 degrees per hour on the way to 102 in the city and here and 105 at Newark. The sunlight had a distinct orange color to it all day.

AG would be melting LOL

I corrected. It shows in hourly on NOAA. Not in middle where it usually shows high.

Thanks, I thought it was just showing the current temp lol.

It was pretty nice with the low humidity :) What was your high where you were at? The northerly wind must have been nice!

I was at a beach all day.

Guessing my high was within 1-2 degrees of NYC and LGA.

Would never believe how hot it was down there today.

Upstate NY, near Cooperstown, at 1600+ feet elevation.........we never took out 75 today.

No humidity, crisp NW breeze.

Delightful upstate summer weather.

Sounds like early fall, lol.
