CAT5ANDREW
This is why hitting 100 degrees is historic in the 5 boroughs.2 feet of snow is easier to get than a 100 degree reading.
bluewave
Wow, Im still at 92 but the temps are rising quickly when the sun is out (it's like 50% cloudy right now and that 50% just happens to be blocking the sun ugh!) I am seeing more sun here in Long Beach now with the temperature up to 95 degrees.

NorEaster27
It sucks because if the DP was like 10 degrees lower we would have cleared 100 today with this strong WNW wind. Why is it so humid with a WNW wind? Isn't that supposed to be a drying downsloping wind? Also, where did these damn clouds come from on a supposedly dry wind lol. holding at the high of 94.

TheTrials
Lol. If its going to be ridiculous we might as well break records How is it even possible to be 93.9 at 1pm, 97 somewhere in between, and then 93.9 again at 2pm? Do they uncover the senser for 10mins, cook it in the sun, take a reading, and then cover it up again?

Newark's thermometer always jumps during sunny, mid-day periods. When its cloudy, they are more in line with all the NYC stations.
