Really? I do enjoy the beach, I just hate the 2 hour drive to get to the ones I like.

Anyway, high of 81F here so far, BOX called for 83, so a little close, but still low.

Lots of clouds...

Finished painting, installing a new lighting fixture (has not yet caught fire) and a new mirror.

Lawn can wait 1 more day...

Did the lawn in the El torcho yesterday. Some folks do not like the sand between their toes, not me. Zac Brown says it best

Wishin' I was

Knee deep in the water somewhere

got the blue sky, breeze and it don't seem fair

the only worry in the world

is the tide gonna reach my chair

Sunrise, there's a fire in the sky

never been so happy

never felt so high

and I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise

Amazing weather today and the next couple of days up this way... nice 30F diurnal temp swings.

This has been a perfect summer. I honestly couldn't think of a better forecast; throw a sweatshirt on at night and in the morning, then go swimming in the afternoon warmth.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 52. Calm wind.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming north between 4 and 7 mph.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 52. Calm wind.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 82. Light and variable wind.

Neither do we, but since the boss is away on vacation, I thought it would be nice to throw back a few. Boss did not care.

Awesome! Back at my old job, we got to go to a number of customer sites that promoted drinking on Fridays (Biogen, Novartis, etc)... very fun, but we could not due to the nature of our work. Back at our office, an old manager used to occasionally get beers/kegs for late Fridays if we had finished up a project, etc.

At my current job, I think it is actually illegal

79

sunny

high of 84, another seasonable day, this cold shot was a miss here, but I know eastern mass enjoyed it yesterday with the wind off the ocean. Mid to upper 80s this weekend, I am certain many stations touch 90, next week 100 somewhere?

You mean you can't just crack a brew in the middle of that Punnett Square lesson during 7th period science?

Come on, now, Dave....

It's going to be a viva la drizzle winter for Fairfield, CT.

I agree. We are due for a real clunker, and with winter's maxima moving north over the past couple of years, I wouldn't be surprised to get less than two feet of snow. 84/90 on north it's your turn to get hammered.

Maybe you are "due" for a historic winter?

Had one, and the winters have been pretty good the last few seasons. For us to get that much snow in such a short amount of time I would say is quite historic. Not sure what it was like up your way, but I'm 15 miles NE from NYC, and on the water, and that amount of snow that we had from late December through January was just absurd. Seems like winter's bullseye is making its way north with each passing season. Perhaps it's time for a historic central New England winter?

I hope its really warm, snow around the holidays and if not be toasty warm, and we are due for an old fashioned 80s winter here, warm and snowless, fingers crossed.
