John1122
Been getting sleet/drizzle/snow, pretty much the whole shebang off and on since just after midnight. Temp bere is clocking between 35 and 34 during heavier bursts. Large snowflakes mix down when the precip rate gets high, mostly sleet and drizzle when it backs off. Always nice too when we see SN before the major cities to our NE! valid 9:15am EST I think every year seems like some southern sections see snow or ice before the Northeast DC to BOS crowd does. I think its happened a lot in the last few years. But in the end, you know who racks up, right?

NCSNOW
App plays a home playoff game today. Hopefully one of these 100's of sat channels I have will carry it. Sure field is white. Good luck to everyone today. Looks like Beech is gonna have lots of visitors starting today. Should be some killer base built up at the slopes over the next 2 weeks. Lee
Picked up just over an inch here. It has now changed to sleet, unfortunately. Areas to my NE(next county up) looks to get a good dumping from this as well as upslope. Here is a cam shot from Wise in case you all missed it in my other post. Putting it down up there! http://www.mcs.uvawise.edu/webcam/
