Western PA storms perhaps survive the trek through the state?

Mt. Holly says you get nothing, you lose, good day sir.

AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ

326 PM EDT MON JUL 11 2011

.SYNOPSIS...

-- Changed Discussion --A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO APPROACH FROM THE NORTHWEST TOMORROW AND

PASS THROUGH THE REGION TOMORROW NIGHT. AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE IS

EXPECTED TO SET UP BEHIND THE FRONT AND PERSIST THROUGH THE COMING

WEEKEND.-- End Changed Discussion --

&&

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM TUESDAY MORNING/...

-- Changed Discussion --WE`LL BE SANDWICHED BETWEEN TWO MID-LEVEL FEATURES TONIGHT. ONE

SHORT WAVE WILL MOVE WEST TO EAST WELL NORTH OF THE CWA. THE OTHER

FEATURE, A DECAYING MCS, WILL RACE TO OUR SOUTH THIS EVENING. 12Z

MODELS (ALONG WITH THE PRIOR 00Z RUN) MOVE SOME WEAK LIFT INTO THE

REGION ALONG WITH SOME LOW AND MID-LEVEL MOISTURE AS THESE TWO

FEATURES APPROACH AND THEN SHIFT OFF THE COAST. BASED ON WHAT THE

MODELS ARE PRODUCING AND WHAT STAT GUIDANCE IS SHOWING, THERE`S NO

REASON TO SHIFT GEARS. THAT SAID, WE`LL LEAVE THE SLIGHT

CHANCE/CHANCE POPS IN THE FORECAST.

TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BACK INTO UPPER 60S ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERN

ZONES TONIGHT AND INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S ELSEWHERE.

CAN`T RULE OUT SOME HAZY SKIES OR SOME FOG COME DAYBREAK.-- End Changed Discussion --

I don't know I've been watching these things since they were in Wisconsin this morning. They've held up pretty good all day - this morning I was seeing comments in a MIchigan thread that they wouldn't make it to Detroit!

It's already turning SE, even if it holds, it will go to our south.
