Bradley Beach today about as good as it gets, crystal clear cloudless sky, nice breeze, board indicated water temp was 70 however it definitely felt warmer, in for hrs & never got cold.

Look at the DP drop at the same time. That looks like a classic heat burst. Unless the sensor was screwed up.

Yeah, I checked the METARs and saw no significant increase in wind anywhere...didn't think there was a heat burst.

Hopefully they don't get it working this week as there may be a warm bias due to the Ocean County Fair.

I don't know I've been watching these things since they were in Wisconsin this morning. They've held up pretty good all day - this morning I was seeing comments in a MIchigan thread that they wouldn't make it to Detroit!
