If you have the knowledge like you say you do, you would of saw that your area was going to get some good rain today; instead of posting that you have given up on rains and don't believe in mt holly rain chances.

Tombo, I will keep my mouth shut now since I stirred up the pot. I apologize to those forecasters In Mt. Holly who may have taken this the wrong way. With 100% chance of rain being predicted this morning, I could not resist the temptation for a joke. I took the approach that if I give on the thunderstorms maybe we can just get rain. Its like washing your car and then it finally rains. It has been a very long time since I have seen those high probability chances for precip in our area. We only received two inches of rain, not the 6 inches in Northampton County. More is on the way however so flooding is a real possibility for Lehigh County

all im trying to say is if you don't think its going to thunderstorm just give an analysis thats what this weather forum is for to give obs and analysis. Even if colin was posting here i wouldn't mind his negativity as long as he provides reason to why he thinks it won't happen.

lol thats 8 miles to my nw as crowflies....dumping there right now up to 1.75 now

Yup, we had 0.3 for the day before this cell blew up over head, got another inch since then. A few rumbles of thunder, no wind, just torrential rain, which I will gladly take. It should be raining pretty hard where you are now though, isn't it?
