July 2007 was below normal on the 71-00 norms.

July normals are 78.1 on 81-10, 77.6 on 71-00.

I know, but I was counting 2005-2011 and leaving out 2009, but even if you include 2009 it is still over a degree above the 1981-2010, a trend it seems.

Gotta take this into consideration that rural area could have a high dp from the evaoptranspiration from plants....this is a main reason why in the midwest dp are in the high 70s to low 80s

Might be why Coatesville (KMQS) has such a high dewpoint. When I drive from Lancaster to Philly that area has several cornfields and well groomed developments.

90.7/73 and the wind has shifted from E to ranging from the WSW to SSW

The wind shifted here about an hour ago in Lancaster and it's gotten quite uncomfortable.

I was out in Bird-in-Hand last weekend. Cornfields looked great compared to here in the Delaware Valley. Luckily while I was visiting RH's were comfy.

The water table is around 300ft deep but has lots of fractures to enable stream flow even in the driest of summer. Plus Armstrong Industries tests a lot of their drought-resistant corn varieties here in the county.
