Mr. Windcredible!
Mid 70s with a refreshing breeze...great day! Thankful for this weather for the movers who are loading us up today. Said they were working in the Bronx on Monday in the stifling stagnant air...sounds miserable. I would be thrilled if this pattern held the rest of the summer...couple days of torch followed by a couple refreshing days.

ORH_wxman
It feels like one of those cool snaps at the end of August. We normally don't see this type of airmass in July. Usually its about 5F warmer on these dry N flow airmasses. This one is pretty impressive. Looks like we might try to sneak a 1 or 2 day mini-torch in here early next week before we cool back down, and then there's still the potential for a bigger heat event beyond D8. Logan11
The seesaw pattern continues on the GFS with the mother ridge primarily staying west, but making forays toward us periodically - such as Sunday/Monday and then again later in the week, before before knocked down nicely again. Sort of a summer rinse and repeat pattern....

This rollover ridge /trough positioning has persistence.
