LOL

Folks know what I mean, but I'm not going personal like you did.

I see your point....but I am a low key guy.....not into alot of the protopypical "fun" summer time activities.

telling you to get out and enjoy summer is hardly "going personal" . The only thing personal about that was the truth be told about your 3 inch measuring rod - :lmao:

I've had about 5 people tell me how nice the waters have been, and said the same thing to myself. My guess is that we really haven't had those days where we have strong offshore flow to really upwell some of those colder waters. Days with lighter seabreezes...even light sw winds will probably help keep the water at local beaches on the milder side. Yesterday got breeze, but still Boston buoy remained near 70.

yeah i definitely think that's what is going on - minimal upwelling and minimal mixing in general.

we'll have to see more of the run and see what happens with it after tuesday or so - it's had that mon/tue fropa for a while now. it's been oscillating more on the second half of next week.

Tru dhat -

it does seem though that the heat signal has been getting stronger for that latter time.

You are right Ray ...summer sux... Even when it's a so called nice low humidity day around 80-85 you still get all overheated in the brutally hot sun. It's a useless time of the year unless you are submerged in water someplace and you like that sort of thing. Me personally, I'm bored to death at some beach or pool.

Dear God, that is the most depressing post I have ever read in the history of any weather board, perhaps you should get a summer home in the Andes?
