CoastalWx
The wind has taken any bite out of the warm temps and high DP's. I'm truly looking forward to the first autumn air mass which is now likely only 60 days or less away. 40s for you on Friday morning, possibly. ski MRG
40s for you on Friday morning, possibly. Nice. Today wasn't as bad as yesterday. Is it really 93 there right now? Jeeesh.
HoarfrostHubb
I'll still have A/C with a low of 69. I'm always someone who feels warm. It's like I have some sort of nuclear fission going on inside me. Even in winter, I'll be the guy with no coat. Get your blood pressure checked. Anyway, the old saying "It's not the heat, it's the humidity" is what I believe for AC use. I don't mind warm if it is dry... we have had a good amount of mid 80s with tds in the 50s or low 60s where it is fine. Last night's 73/72 required AC for me... I don't care what Pete thinks. Why sleep in sweat, especially with the Pony-o
HoarfrostHubb
It really was not bad outside under the canopy. There was a nice breeze and the air was drying. Never got really hot today. BOX has been overdoing the heat around here... off by 1-4 degrees most days (on the high side)
Mr Torchey
High of 95 here today with a nice downsloping wind to the coastal plain, thats how we got hot here. I thought it was a fantastic day, the breeze was relentless, and now that dps are closing in on 60 the air is nice and dry. 91/62 Heaven
ski MRG
40s for you on Friday morning, possibly. I last hit the 40's on July 1st (46) and July 2nd (49). Get your blood pressure checked. Why sleep in sweat, especially with the Pony-o LOL, a small fan circulating the air is enough. I don't sweat and I sleep like a log, As for the long hair being hot I don't notice it. I just spent 9 hrs in the blistering sun and I feel great. Sweat the toxins out.
moneypitmike
WTF? Yet, by some miracle, MPM and I will survive the whole summer without a/c.lol Our house smells like flowers as the nice breeze wafts the fragrance of summer through the house. Something you don't get when the house is under a/c lock down. At the moment, the freshing breeze is wafting in the fragrance of a 100 dairy cows lining up for milking. 79.8/

We have a 52" ceiling fan circulating (have fans in all bedrooms, plus the large family room/human sacrifice room) Circulating swampazz is still swampazz I have often thought of a whole house fan... or a retractable roof

Mr Torchey
Dear lord, hell on earth. It was amazing Peter. Warm sun kissing the skin, and at the same time a dry wind out of the nw gusting 20+, chilling any thoughts of swampazz. The next ten days look chronic, low to mid 80s ZERO humidity, and epic sleeping weather.............best summer ever rolls on.

Mr Torchey
Looks like a mid month heat wave, most locations well above normal for July already, looks to get much worse in the coming weeks, will Tippy reach the melting point, will Ray take a swan dive into the tub? Will West Chesterfield crack 80? Maybe for you, but Im hearing talk of an epic heat wave starting towards the middle of next week. ^^^^^^ Good, in case you have not noticed, I like it Hot............................Viva La Sizzle

Blizz has been talking like that since April and still nothing noteworthy has materialized. Today and yesterday were supposed to be mind melting but ...meh. weatherwiz
If the GFS is correct I wonder if the final week of July could potentially be fairly active convective wise. The GFS shows strong ridging across the south but a fairly deep low over Canada. We are positioned right inbetween so we are under a westerly/northwesterly flow aloft with the strongest of the westerlies right over our region. Could be a good setup for some MCS' coming through from the northern Plains down through southern Canada?

Logan11
I ran the a/c because what the heck it cost 2K to install and I like comfort. But seriously this was a poor excuse for a torch. 85.8 on Monday and 81.3 on Tuesday. 72 now with a strong w/nw breeze...humidity gone. 69/64, about 20 degrees cooler here.lol I can't wait for the Winter nights that decouple and we freefall into the negative numbers.
