I don't know what the fear is for Thursday. Should be 75-80 for a lot of SNE. Maybe 80-82ish for torch CT. Eastern mass and esp the Cape will be the coolest. Very cool night Thursday night.

LOL..there's no fear.. the other day many on here were calling for 60's in the hills and 70's everywhere else..while a few of us have been saying upper 70's- low 80's all along

When was this? If you are referring to a joke about a post 7 day image of an op run, I wouldn't take those posts seriously.

The goal posts have been moved... "upper 70s" magically appears in kevins posts.

Doubtful today does since the ground is so wet. That's been the reason for lack of 90's this year. So much water in the ground. Soil has never dried out at all.

Maybe that is why the diurnal cooling has not been that big a deal as well? Harder to lose the energy when the low level air is relatively moist.

I really need some truly hot weather to get in here so I am prepared for Orlando

Been waking up to dew almost every day. Big difference from this time last year. Some showers tomorrow would be nice.

the data concern the wild blueberries that grow at Blue Hill Reservation...

some interesting stuff...

Seems sort of subjective... . "Warm weather in late May and early June resulted in the earliest ripe blueberry every observed on the summit of Great Blue Hill, which was recorded on June 7th, about two weeks earlier than average."

But 2 weeks is pretty good. Their facebook page has some interesting plant related obs

It's awesome. Very relaxing and the WX has been perfect. Would like to watch some big storms come in off the lake!!

Sweet, enjoy, hope Doppler is better. we had a big scare with a friends dog who mysteriously became lame and very sick, she spent the night at the vet hospital but was fine after some antibiotics and steroids. They never figured out what happenned but of course my wife was paranoid about some mystery camp illness would affect our four dogs. Out of our ten days we had one rainout Friday, 3 plus inches but the rest was just stunning. Think i ended up with 28 bass total and massive lake floating time.

The dog has been better... Just had a stomach bug for q night I think. He's so exhausted from swimming he's not eating as much as usual but I'm impressed with how good he's been up here I was a little worried.

Based on scotts forecast we packed ice fishing gear. The hut is ready to go!

LOL... He just filled up the tank with 100 gallons of oil in preparation for 2-3 nights of needing to put the heat on

Bears will be breaking into your cabin looking for warmth.

Thursday looks great up there. Maybe 75-78? I bet Thursday night will be chilly.

Today's low of 59 was nice again. Now at 76 and seems destined for middle/upper 80's so I'll use some a/c for the first time in quite awhile. Really I only used it constantly for that three day period a month ago. Then we can shut it off tomorrow evening and enjoy the fresh pre-autumnal airmass. :)
