HoarfrostHubb
I'm picturing a thundering stampede of 500 horses and Kevin trembling in his garage sitting on a bag of Lesco fertilizer. Aeration, MRG style

Damage In Tolland
What a day..Absolutely perfect. The Stadium was wild..electric atmosphere..Fans were nuts..After his 1st hit ..you could just sense something special was going to happen. He fouled all those pitches of and then the HR. I mean it couldn't have been drawn up any better...Then to win the game on his 5th hit of the day.....Goosebumps..Forever etched in our memories. Logan11
I listened to that game on my circa 1983 boom box sitting outside with the family at a BBQ.... I was 17..... Little did we know there wouldn't be another World Championship for over a dozen years. uote name='CT Blizz' timestamp='1310254295' post='800595'] I was also at Righetti's no hitter vs the Sox when I was a kid with my dad..and at Seaver's 300th win at the Stadium
Logan11
My Dad was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, but as a young kid his father got some free tickets to a Yankee game and he saw Babe Ruth playing. I have quite a few score cards from 1930's and 1940's games.

larvay
OKC is currently at 109F, tied for the sixth hottest day on record I enjoyed a toasty 107 yesterday in Phoenix. Unloading stuff from my trailer into a mini-storage from 9AM to 1:30 PM really took the wind out of my sails. I wouldn't have hurt if I had drunk an additional couple of quarts of water. ski MRG
You have no understanding of baseball so that doesn't surprise me I understand baseball. I played baseball through my teens and was actually quite a good hitter. The fact remains it is one of the most drawn out boring games to watch. The last MLB game I was at I fell asleep. Also, I find grown men idolizing flawed sports stars a bit sad really. Do you have a Yankees jersey that says Jeter on it? Maybe a few posters of A-rod in your bedroom? As far as complexity level, baseball is pretty far down on the list . Play the infield in or out, bunt, steal base, intentionally walk a hitter, blah blah blah. Sorry Ginxy, I know you love BBall too. Just expressing my personal opinion on the matter. BORING! lol

Mostly because I participate though I do watch it to learn technique. I don't have any Tiger Woods posters or any Phil Mickelson outfits to wear though. I'd much prefer to watch 4 hrs of golf than 4 hrs of baseball. Perish the thought.

I was down at Mystic Aquarium yesterday with the family and boy was it hot down in CT, a dreadful place.
