That's because there's absolutely no reason to have this thread... should have just kept it in the gen. obs. and/or gen. severe threads.

Y'all can have fun spending 2-3 pages complaining.

why? this thread was warranted for the storms today

Some Neat Looking Clouds Moved in During the Gust Front. The storm itself lost most of its luster before it got here. I wish I had taken Some Others, but there was Lightning around and I wasn't too comfortable :P

All I had was my Cell Phone Camera Unfortunately, so sorry for the Crappy Resolution.

DCA comes up with zilch for the day with precipitation. But a thunderstorm occurred.

The problem with thunder stats. In 20 yrs I might think this was a good storm day.

the diff between June rainfall at the 3 airports is pretty impressive

Sure is. Nothing was was really organized this month. Just a bunch of popcorn and peanut storms. July will probably be another dry month with bouts of heat and breaks inbetween. Then the tropical train starts in August. Me thinks this year will have some good EC landfalls.

It over-performed in the southern areas :weight_lift: Yes, in retrospect it was warranted for the region.

But it looks like most of the talk was on the gen. obs. side of things, as is the trend over the last while.

The difference between precip IMBY and BWI is ridiculous. A hobbyist's wx station a few blocks away only has 0.75" on the month. BWI had 2" just that one day with training tstms.
