HoarfrostHubb
11 snow days later and Tolland officially is done with school as of today. A record for going so late into the summer My last day was Friday. We had 5 snow days but stupidly started after Labor Day. In 2009 we went until June 27 or so due to the 2008 Ice Storm

HoarfrostHubb
We don't have the big equipment. There were 1 or 2 days closed because rds weren't wide enough for buses to get thru after the second blizzard And at least one day where they dumped snow from the roof in front of the doors
Damage In Tolland
And at least one day where they dumped snow from the roof in front of the doors Yeah they closed on a Friday to shovel all the school roofs off and the following Monday because the snow was piled up over all the windows and doors and was a fire hazard and illegal
Logan11
That's absurd. Mr Torchey
77/61 simply sensational wife and I just enjoyed a drink in the adirondack chairs with the southerly seabreeze gracing us with cool puffs of perfection. 4 more days left, beach sat sun and mon fireworks on sun night and out over the sound off of penfield mon night. Honestly, can life get any better, sunny and 80-85 for the forseeable future!

ORH_wxman
Is that legal in CT? This is one of those rare New England summer weeks. Just perfection I love the mid 70s to low 80s type stuff where dews stay below 60F. It seems like we've had a lot of these types of days when we don;t have 55F and drizzle. We've almost completely avoided the 88/72 type stuff. Very few of those days thus far. Hoping to avoid 90F altogether this summer. That would be sweet. We avoided 90F in 2009 and 2004 most recently. It was a catastrophe. FEMA could have declared his car a disaster area. I felt awful the next day.

nzucker
Those biatches are eating my clients flowers lol, they are everywhere down here! Yeah they are a real nuisance to my garden here...I have a 6-foot deer fence that protects the main vegetable garden, but some beds outside it are vulnerable to the deer. Sucks.
