aslkahuna
The CME from yesterday's long duration C7/0F/DSF flare is forecast to arrive around 24/0700Z. The CME was most assuredly from the DSF since the flare proper was quite mild. The DSF occurred on the Central Meridian and the CME was a full halo one. Observers north of 42N should begin to monitor the sky as soon as it becomes dark enough though best activity will be in the midnight to dawn sector. Peak storm activity is expec ted to be G2 but brief periods of higher activity during substorming are possible. Steve
