L.B. LaForce
Yeah, I've been socked in clouds all day until about 10 minutes ago. Still only partly sunny though, looks like it was the debris cloud this time for MI! haha
Hoosier
Big changes do the day 1 Interesting...visible satellite trends have gradually been improving in the "gap" area. Maybe a case of a little too much subsidence and inadequate low level convergence to get a lot to go. Models have had some issues with this event but I guess you're asking for trouble if you follow the model output literally on days when there is ongoing convection. JoMo
Towering cu? Hard to tell, it's cloudy. But the radar is lit up and there is thunder here. Not sure if the updraft will sustain itself, but it is hot and humid with a cold front plowing through.
Ozarkwx
It would be most excellent if we could get some precip here. In the past month we have gotten about half an inch and the grass in some spots is getting the brown look and unfortunately I have to start irrigation of trees planted last fall (of course these are in a location that requires water hauling). Certainly an unthinkable situation 30 days ago when we racked up over 20" of rain in 2 months.

Bryan Wood
From what I've heard around here, no touchdowns from the funnels. I was very surprised to see this as we got MCS debris-busted in Dayton proper this afternoon. All rain and not even a crack of lightning around 6 pm. I guess the Warm Front was able to come through before sunset and advect some naughty-ness down there.

David Reimer
Amarillo experienced a significant wake low this morning, beginning at about 2:45 AM and continuing up to the time of this post. Several wind gusts up to 69 MPH were observed at KAMA and the weather service office. Several power outages have been reported, which I wouldn't be surprised to see end up causing a few wildfires. The airport was right under this event and observed it well.
