Was that the size reported? It was confusing because he first said 1-1.5" and later on he was saying golf ball sized.

Hmm I think I was actually watching the same thing.. I took it that he was trying to mention the golf ball sized hail reported in the region today (Whiting NJ in Ocean County), while he was also showing the current frame of the thunderstorm which was indicating 1"-1.5" hail cores.

Yea the near golf balls reported on the other side of my town/ Colts Neck last month (the day of the Springfield Mass tornado) would have been awesome to see.

Just caught a good outflow gust here with the Monmouth cell and some light rain... wondering if someone to my south got a nice downdraft
