It looks like the party is over at 28 straight days with an average temperature of at least 80 each day. Today's high appears to have peaked at 85, with a low of 73, for an average of 79. Chances of that happening are not looking too good right now. Seems like temps are going to stay around climo for the next week or so. The chances for heat waves are beginning to dwindle away, which is great news for us that hate the extreme heat. 16 days til September 1st and the start of the college football season. So, both streaks (80 degree+ average temperature and 70 degree+ low temperature) ended yesterday after 28 straight days, July 17-August 13.
