Ian
15 in a row puts us into rare territory for streaks. Will have to check top ones to see what secondary streaks were. I know 88 had an 18 as well as the 21. Longest 90+ 1980 21 1988 21 1872 18 1999 18 1993 16 day 16. looks like we tie with 1993 unless there is a miracle (looking at MOS) tomorrow. MN Transplant
day 16. looks like we tie with 1993 unless there is a miracle (looking at MOS) tomorrow. I'm not counting tomorrow out. We've been hitting 90 by 10 or 11am. The vort is over Pittsburgh at that time via the 12z NAM.

I guess we could do it. Haven't looked at much other than MOS. If we can't get the record I don't care as much.

Ellinwood
MOS has been running approx. 5 degrees too cold on average over the last few days... would almost expect us to stay at 90+ through the next while unless we get storms at just the right time. Actually pops us quite well tomorrow before any possible storms. Thursday is the problem.

nj2va
I was rooting for upper 80s later in the week but count me on board with rooting for 90s through the weekend. It wanted to snow in the winter of 09/10...this is the summer where it just wants to be in the 90+ range.

Kevin Druff
I must confess it's quite amusing and ironic that KDCA is still trucking along on a record string and KRIC's was broken on a day you hit 99*.

I imagine the little outflow thing that just happened will probably bring the temp down at least a couple of degrees. EDIT Speak of the devil... down to 80-81.
