Cloudy--temp now at 91 IMBY. I think it's even MUGGIER. Strong gusty winds out of the NW--very black nasty clouds to the NW. There is a storm about 10 miles N of me in Hagerstown currently. I haven't heard any thunder or seen lightening yet.

Looking at the radar--this storm SHOULDN'T miss--but never underestiamte the power of the Sharpsburg Raindome

Oh--just heard the first thunder......

We are currently under a severe thunderstorm warning and flash flood warning

Thunder is increasing.....

There is now some great outflow off the storms that formed in the highlands.. we lacked a trigger I think we now have it

Yeah, was about to post that. If the outflow runs into something, that could definitely get something going closer to the Bay. But, it will also stabilize the area behind it, so...

The lack of shear is going to keep this popcorn style though.. microbursts in any flareups but that will be it.

That outflow is definitely triggering things closer to the lowlands. Doesn't take much convergence on a moist unstable day like this.

Nothing impressive or even sustaining. I mentioned the outflow an hour before it started.
