Got a vantage pro 2. And before you say they are messed up. I got it calibrated correctly. I am sitting right around what the airport KHGR is right now. Temp and dewpoint. Longest stretch was 5 consecutive days twice: July 19-23, 1930 (100, 103, 106, 105, 103) and July 26-30, 1930 (102, 105, 100, 101, 104) 1930 also had another 4 day stretch 8/3-6 (100, 102, 108, 105) and a 3 day streak 8/8-10 (105, 100, 102.) I was going to ask you if you thought those were realistic readings or if perhaps there was a glitch in the thermometer or the site that summer, but then I am reminded of the Dirty Thirties and that is is possible that it was the result of being caught in the overflow of the great drought. I'd like to do some cross-checking with other stations nearby to be certain. A fun project for when I find the time. But yes, I think the temps from the 30's are probably legit.
