Kmlwx
Was working fine last night, the dog is at daycare today so I think the hubby was going to set it to 80 while we are at work so it doesn't run too much today. That's nothing - my dad makes us keep it at 83-85 so it never kicks on here. All to save energy.

My cousin in Dumfries had his windows open on Sunday afternoon. That said, I grew up in South Jersey without AC. I have no idea how we did it. WinterWxLuvr
Somewhat agreed, though I'd save the "Hitler-loving" comment for the people who root for bitter cold. And they're Commies, too. No, save that comment for those hoping for wind and severe storms.

I have no idea how we did it. I grew up in southern Va. without AC. I think we got our first one when I was a teenager in high school. We hardly ever used it. I'm like you, I don't know how I could live now without one.
Ian
I'm starting to feel like this heat wave is being hyped, around here at least. I need some 105s on the 12z GFS.

No such readings will be recorded at any of our big 3 reporting stations. We'll get 3 days of near 100 readings and then be back down to the area wide high temps in the upper 80s/low 90s.
