weatherwiz
Not going to see widespread action tomorrow but with closed low slowly departing and pieces of s/w energy rotating around it there could be just enough lift to spark off a few showers/t'storms late in the day tomorrow. We aren't going to be too unstable but with afternoon heating (temps into the 70's), dewpoints in the lower 60's and pretty steep mid-level lapse rates we should become weakly unstable. Winds aloft aren't highly impressive but should be strong enough as 0-6km shear values are between 30-35 knots. Freezing levels are fairly low and forecast soundings indicate an inverted-v look. Heights aloft though will be rising which is never a good thing so this could be one factor that precludes any development. If we are to see storms pop though the stronger ones will be capable of small hail...perhaps some close to 1'', and strong winds given inverted-v look and decent shear aloft. CoastalWx
Dews are only near 50 tomorrow. Probably just some iso-sct low topped stuff in the mtns.

weatherwiz
I know the cold pool isn't really in a favorable position but I would think upper 50's would be plenty in a cold pool setup to help at least spark a few storms.
CoastalWx
Near 50F? Looked like near 60F to me...at least upper 50's. I was looking at MOS for BDL and they were low. 2M dewpoints on the models may be a bit overdone.

That could be a strong possibility...dewpoints right now are only in the lower 50's and I don't see much of anything to advect higher dews into the region, especially with a northerly/northeasterly sfc flow. Perhaps with some sun and wet ground tomorrow they rise a few degrees.
