About time--ENVCA has definitely fallen on hard times after they restructured it. I don't know much about exactly what went on, but the forecasts and products it put out were pretty awful as one would expect.

Somehow 27 mill over two years sounds a little small, but hey what do I know about Environment Canada? NOAA's budget could chip in more than that from their 5.5 billion for 2012!! But then NOAA is saving the Gulf and baby dolphins (or uh not).

Environment Canada is about the same as NOAA. I'm not too sure what the total EC budget is, but this $27million is for the weather offices, or the Meteorological Service of Canada department of Environment Canada, or something like that.
