cyclone77
The DVN area is usually lower than surrounding CWAs for tornadoes, but zero is somewhat surprising.
Chicago Storm
The DVN area is usually lower than surrounding CWAs for tornadoes, but zero is somewhat surprising. There have been only 4 tornadoes in their CWA thus far (One EF-0, two EF-1's, and one EF-2)...all of which have affected only two counties (Des Moines & Iowa Counties). Chicago Storm
Wow the DVN total is surprising The CWA is quite low, with only 4 tornadoes to date...which has not changed since a previous post back in early June.
Jonbo
It's definitely been quiet in my area for tornadoes. Most of the "action" is the Missouri River on the western side of the state.

Chicago Storm
What happened to that tornado in November near Champaign...ILX never confirmed? Never saw anything confirming it. Per the ILX 2011 summary, it sounds as if it was sig wind damage. Quickly scanning through NCDC data, there have been several changes (mostly to EF rating) from tornadoes earlier in the year. Looks like i'll just have to go through and recount once the Oct-Dec data is in...so I guess take the image above FWIW.
Chicago Storm
Nevermind, it wasn't as bad as I thought. The two previous EF-0's out of DVN didn't make the cut and were throwing me off. Updated...and I went through it twice to make sure this time...
