mappy
This amuses me - You are in Rockville, there is a warning out that includes Frederick... if the storm stays on the same path and doesn't fall apart... it will hit you. To add to this - now there is a warning out for the Charles Town area, also moving southeast.... if it doesn't fall apart, it heads directly towards DC. Bob Chill
not a "strong" front, perfect time of day doesn't matter when you have no shear, let's just lower those expectations....things look pretty good given the parameters. Voice of reason. Agreed. Not really a strong front. Nice air behind it. I'm looking forward to the next 3 days.
mappy
Some itty bitty new development around Winchester. Maybe that can be a bit of a southern extension. That storm near Winchester has strengthened quite a bit... Leesburg looks to be in a good spot.
Kmlwx
Seems we are in a good position to be in the area where the storm will pulse down before pulsing up just east. lol

Bob Chill
That is one nasty cell NE of York. After the July 26th storm last year, I really don't root for severe imby anymore. A branch through the roof, ensuing water damage, and $3k worth of out of pocket tree damage changed my perspective quite a bit.

Kmlwx
I like radar for now. May do a backyard chase later. Boundary moving slowly west in almost same spot as yday. Is that boundary good for us or bad for us? Almost looks like it came in from the bay (bay breeze?)
Ian
Is that boundary good for us or bad for us? Almost looks like it came in from the bay (bay breeze?) Could be bay breeze for sure. I dunno how much it matters other than maybe not wanting it to get here before the storms.
