I haven't had a chance to look at the models much Ian, is the line the supposed first round or second?

I haven't looked at anything but I assume it's the front so that would be it probably. Pre frontal trough is either with activity to the sw or even stuff to the east of DC I think.

Some itty bitty new development around Winchester. Maybe that can be a bit of a southern extension.

We can't get two 4 pm squalls in a row to fall apart and/or totally suck... Right?

I don't know. For a strong front passing through at the perfect time of day, it's not too exciting looking. DC split appears to be in effect......at least for now.

This amuses me - You are in Rockville, there is a warning out that includes Frederick... if the storm stays on the same path and doesn't fall apart... it will hit you.

not a "strong" front, perfect time of day doesn't matter when you have no shear, let's just lower those expectations....things look pretty good given the parameters.

I don't know. For a strong front passing through at the perfect time of day, it's not too exciting looking. DC split appears to be in effect......at least for now.
