nzucker
you are one of the laziest persons i have ever come across tubes Yeah I was real lazy to graduate with a 3.8 from Middlebury. And I spent most of last summer working 50 hrs a week in a kitchen...so lazy! This from the guy who played golf for a living. Tough life swinging at a stationary ball and then driving around the pesticide drenched course.

Logan11
As long as we are talking trees...look out SNE, the Emerald Ash Borer has been spotted about 35 miles from the NE border now in the HV: http://readme.readmedia.com/DEC-Announces-Emerald-Ash-Borer-Awareness-Week/2381467 It's gonna be sad if my one good shade tree is wiped out, but there is a pesticide treatment that can be used for some individual trees. Gotta look into it.... Gypsy Moths?

Typhoon Tip
Today is like pleasent shock... What is the warm orb that hurts one's eyes to peer upon in the sky? Gently filtered by a gossomer veil of thin cirrus. The wind is gentle on nape and 74F and climbing airs feel like a tropical swim in an emerald sea compared to that boreal onslaught of unrelenting abuse. Logan11
I like the 12Z GFS... Any heat trying to ram in here from the southwest early next week is meeting a lot resistance with the vortex out near Newfie. So when all is said and done will we be talking about on truly hot day before it turns cooler again? My kind of summer if that's the case. ..Yah it could be humid and wet in SNE is the trough sets up a little too far west next week... quote name='TheBudMan' timestamp='1308154798' post='758949'] Was at Game 6 AWESOME (Wiz hates me) heavy heavy beers heavy heavy heckling What do you see for Saturday ? powderfreak
Is that low 80s over the BDL area with CT_Blizz's house in the 68-70F range? That's an impressive gradient near the immediate torch valley. It looks like we were quite a bit warmer up here today... I hit 81F at 800ft and we saw 78F at 1,550ft. It was about as hot as I'd like to see it during the summer... 80-82F is a good summer max. It gets any warmer than that down here in the village and I need to head up to 4,000ft to cool off. Also worth noting is how the Eastern Slopes are a solid 8-10F colder than the rest of the Berkshires.
