LGA dropped 14 degrees and is gusting to 41mph.

Very dark skies overhead in the city, temps plummeting through the 80s.

There's hail all over this line showing up on radar.

Ugh im trying to take pics just as i tried it melted faster then it fell. Thank god my car survived lol

A REFRESHING breeze finally.

Rain blossoming over the metro area

I hate gust fronts

Did the temps for all you guys peak well before this started happening or was this responsible for capping the temps and could they have gone higher?

Thx for posting as it shows how much more organized the storms ne of the city were closer to the upper level support and how scattered the storms are near nyc much more hit and miss, the squal line that blasted areas ne of nyc is no where to be found

This is normal for us-- even last year, our immediate area saw no severe weather-- it was all just north of us. I can't remember the last time I've actually witnessed a truly severe thunderstorm here-- it's been a few years.
