SmokeEater
You won't get a light show at the shore. I'm soaked and it's foggy and still racing Maybe we can get lucky further south of ya, 75 and 73 at ACY and MIV respectively, with DP at 72. Still ripe, even with the east breeze. phlwx
A good bit of thunder, not a real soaking up here. Most of the convection is elevated here since the lower atmos is rather stable...

MGorse
Storms are firing up around State College.....they have been doing so for a while. We need to break the cap to get in on the action this afternoon. Lots of moisture trapped under the inversion north of the warm front has been locking in the stratus. Seeing signs now that it is thinning with many areas having the cloud bases rising. I think most areas at least partially clear. Not much flow so far to push the warm front north. We shall see what develops/arrives from the west but I think some areas will see convection later this afternoon and this evening.

tombo82685
We need that warm front to push through or the sun, or this is going to be another ordeal like last night. Strong storms approach from the west till they get to western chester county they turn into a rain event. All the instability right now is associated along and south of the warm front. There is virtually no shear with this, so main threat is damaging winds and hail, maybe an outside tornado.
ChescoWx
Picked up a much needed 0.48" of rain in the t-storms late last night and just after midnight. The cold frontal storms are starting to fire up....the latest radar has the storms just over 57 miles to my NW and should be crossing my area sometime in the 4pm hour. Hopefully the Phils get the game in and Roy O....does the job today! Go Phils!! Currently Hazy Sun Temp 70.2 RH 95% DP 68.7 Heat Indx 76.

Not to mention the direction the storms out west are heading SE..

greg ralls
Last night's storms were unimpressive here in King of Prussia. Got some flashes & rumbles for a couple of hours on either side of midnight, but nothing outside of the norm. I'd love a good ol' house shaking thunderstorm today, please.
