I'm on western edge of lansdale and getting nice hit

I'm technically in West Point...close enough to Lansdale of course. Downpour is finally easing up now, but that was one hell of a 15 minute downpour. That was likely over an inch of rain in that time frame.

Looks like Spring Mount got in on some of the rain too. I didn't water my flowers this morning, hoping Mother Nature would provide some rain. She did.

Finally got hit with a storm, not severe but heavy rain for about 5 minutes. Also hit 90 just before the storm.

still waiting for our turn- lawns really showing stress and even the corn is starting to curl. 93 degrees now - four days in a row of 90's in Macungie . storms going north and south of us again. wow what a donut hole showing its ugly head for a lack of precip. Mt Holly can broadcast a severe thunderstorm or flood watch all they want - they have missing us all year long.

Yeah, a 5 minute downpour isn't going to make things green around here, that's for sure. Most of the rain just ran off into the road.

Hope you get your storms, and me some additional storms in the days to come.

Nice low level backing winds (SE) in the south jersey areas that have also destabilized nicely. We will see what any convection does right around the warm frontal area

That cell in Ocean County looks to have a 65-70 mph downburst with it, for the last 3 scans. Not much rotation though.

We actually do have a fairly unstable airmass in place with decent parameters right over the city... 2000 J/Kg MLCAPE and low-level lapse rates around 7.5 (approaching 8 in southern Chester County)

I think we'l see these showers in Chester County pulse up as they cross into Philly, although with only weak shear they probably won't maintain themsevles for very long

Yeah ocean county got rocked. Multiple roads impassable.

Report from FD down there possible tornado. In that area.

Yup, hit really really hard, IMO it was straightline winds looking at radar, but there was a chance of a tornado. Tree down on a vehicle now with entrapment.
