Thunder Road
Today begins the official Philadelpha Subforum Chasecation. Follow me on Twitter @RyWX or on Facebook where I'll post some stuff. Today we're chasing the upslopes of NE CO and SE WY since we don't have time to get farther east. Td's are in the mid-40s, so SBCAPE looks like it will top out at like 750 J/Kg if that. Shear is great, with nice hodos, and both the SPC WRF and HRRR develop a heavy shower north of Cheyenne so that's where we're headed. Then tonight and tomorrow we'll fly east to Lincoln, NE or Topeka, KS or so for the next 2 days out there.
Thunder Road
despite temps in the 50s and Td's in the low 40s, we're on a supercell in Wheatland, WY. Rotation weak right now but was strong earlier and may pulse up again. Awesome structure and a few nice CG strikes as well

Thunder Road
After 5 days and over 2000 miles, we were finally successful. The one SPC report of a tornado for today is the needle tornado that we saw at 2:54pm MDT on the Wyoming/South Dakota border. Pictures and videos will be up tonight

Thunder Road
Awesome! Congrats on the successful chase. Thanks! We were extremely lucky to see that, considering the lack of roads in Wyoming and the fact that we were in southeast Colorado the afternoon before
