North Balti Zen
Well, I am apparently the rain shield. With mapgirl, together we repel rain. Storms have exploded all over the area right around me, but nothing really in my neighborhood. Just missed north, and then just missed south. The area around Towson/Parkville/Hamilton neighborhood in Baltimore City can' buy a direct hit right now. A few sprinkles, that's it.

Bob Chill
Walking the dog and see flashes all over to the west. I got a little excited that the storm was heading my way. I tune into radar and it's moving NNE. Odd storm motion for sure. Oh well, cheers to tomorrow's flash flooding.

WVclimo
It is raining here again. Even though radar show the cells a good 20 miles to my south. Plenty of distant thunder and lightning, yet I am getting occasional splatters of big drops. Even blowoff is overproducing here this year.
WVclimo
I thought it was thundering and then we started losing the satellite (and given how the Nats have tanked this evening, it's a blessing). we are having quite the storm alley summer out here. It is pouring here now. By the sound of it falling in the chimney, i ran back out to see if it was hail. Just huge raindrops. Radar just lit up right over me again. Looks like it may be heading north? haven't figured out how to embed the animated wunder map +1 for the thunder rumbles, never heard anything here. Tomorrow better deliver otherwise my water bill is going to be thru the roof with all the watering of our new shrubs I planted a month ago To embed the radar, you have to save it to your hard drive first and then attach it here just went out--no rain here but the best lightning show in years. almost constant C2C, like those August storms when the humidity is super high. It has to be lit up July 4th out there, looks great on radar.

North Balti Zen
Nice light show on what is an incoming cell. Looks like Towson getting a nice shot of rain and wind at the moment just to my west. Light show was accurate. But it wasn't incoming, that cell slid off to my NE. Still have not sustained rain for more than about 10 minutes through all this tonight. Maybe tomorrow comes in as progged and really breaks the dry streak for my zip code.
