Good summertime thunderstorm :) Wasn't severe by me, but there was plenty of lightning. Heard a bunch of sirens just a few minutes ago... power went out briefly at the apartment and came back on 25 minutes ago (I went out to a small park to watch the storm).

This town has a curse on it. Last few times we had thunderstorms we get fringed and .01 falls in rainfall.

Last night/early this morning was a great light show, rained for 15 mins, few rumbles of thunder but lightning was the main factor in those

Today around 430 or so, outflow boundary kicked up here, winds were strong, lots of leaves and debris blown around. I was in downtown Leesburg and the skies opened up with some Heavy Rain, thunder and 2 CTG strikes. Went home a few miles away, it got drier and drier, and we got 87 raindrops here, just some wind and few rumbles of thunder. Fringed again. Lawn is like straw. :axe: :axe: :axe: :axe:

Northern part of Leesburg to Lucketts got a good rain out of it though, I need to move to Lucketts

More stuff filling in behind this main outflow area... looks like you'll get another shot!

Got it pretty good in the city.. probably the best severe storm of the yr.

Here's a cell phone vid (TWC requested to use it, see if they do)--worst wind came with the rain. Lots of small objects blown around.. didnt go looking for damage.
