WxUSAF
Bullseye two days in a row That was the heaviest rain I've ever seen with the Sun still shining...absolutely torrential rain as I drove across Columbia around 7pm. Looks like it was a bit lighter at my house on the eastside of town. Some neat spiraling scud clouds too before it started raining.
ThePhotoGuy
Light rain and distant thunder. It looked nice on radar.

nw baltimore wx
Couple of heavier showers going up straddling 95. Just got caught in a nice 15 minute downpour here while out on a run. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

MN Transplant
Made it to 93 at DCA. This June has been absurd so far.
WxUSAF
Made it to 93 at DCA. This June has been absurd so far. Doesn't seem like we get absurdly below average months very often, does it? Last 3 months all well-above average and now June starts well-well above
Kmlwx
Dewpoints really dropping off to the west. We need that dry air in here pronto! Still have a dewpoint of 69 at DCA.

Ian
I'm going to pretend that I never looked at the Euro. i said it in the 2010 thread or somewhere maybe the drought thread.. but i think our saving grace this yr might be the breaks. i dont recall any of this glory last yr but maybe the heat burned my brain. Only 6 days in June last year that the high was below 85. We may go 6 in a row here.
Ian
we've had a tendancy to get these 500 lows to lock in over/near new england for a while now. i guess i can't assume that will last all summer and we're probably already seeing less of it now than previously, but if that repeats another time or two we can probably end up with repeats down the line. i give us a 80% chance of hitting 103 or higher this summer
WxUSAF
Only 6 days in June last year that the high was below 85. That's absolutely disgusting. Give me days like this for about 300 days a year.
Ian
we also had 22 lows 70+ last june.. already 5 below that mark this yr with mos below that through the period tho i'd guess we won't get all of em.
WxUSAF
12z GFS keeps hot weather nowhere in sight through the entire run...actually has highs in the 70s most days, with only a few 80s thrown in.

Ian
im usually a staunch supporter of the gfs but i may have to side with the euro in the med-long range for now. gfs is warm pretty much everywhere with a pocket of troughiness near us. if nothing else it's a fragile cool pattern. Ian
hrmph, the euro backed off a bit.. still warmer than the gfs but not as warm as it was
