OHSnow
41 mph sustained winds with gusts to 47 mph recorded on buoy on Saginaw Bay. http://www.wundergro...buoy/SBLM4.html Check that... those were knots. It's actually 47 mph sustained gusting to 54 mph.
kevlon62
Although radar was not the most impressive, a very nice cluster just moved through here. Driving winds mixed with torrential downpours to yield sheets of rain and blew over the sand bagged (one bag) road closed easel sign and weighted standing plastic barricades that the first responders, etc. set up across the street for what I assume are either loose or downed wires down the block from the original OFB 90+ minutes ago. A bit of pea sized hail mixed in.
OHSnow
Check that... those were knots. It's actually 47 mph sustained gusting to 54 mph. The buoy also seems to have stopped reporting, so I don't know if something was damaged or destroyed by the wind.

OHSnow
In addition, parts of the Saginaw Bay region continue to experience heat bursts as I mentioned earlier in the other thread. Currently, the heat burst is impacting a peninsula on the shore of Saginaw Bay. Temps/dewpoints have gone from 81/69 to 87/53 in the past hour, and it still intensifying. Saginaw MBS International Airport had gusts up to 50 mph with the heat burst, as well as a rapid drop in humidity, earlier this evening. http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KMISANDP1

SEMIweather
The southern portion of the Michigan line is weakening...there has been a clear decrease in radar reflectivity over the last 30 minutes, and an outflow boundary has become visible over Ottawa and Allegan Counties over the last few frames. Yeah, only chance would be if the line starts to sag south more. There's a portion of the line that's moving to the southeast, but the line in general looks to be moving east or east-southeast. Chicago Storm
Ended up with a nice hit here... Little kiddie pool from a neighbors house a few doors down was blown across the yard and down the street. Across the street an awning was ripped apart and blown off someones house. They also had a decent sized canopy in their backyard, which was blown over their house(wish I would have gotten video of that). Now were getting some marble to penny size hail.
