Mikehobbyst
That must feel nasty it being June on the Cape and Islands this evening. How could it get cooler than the water temps and be a mP airmass. Did Arctic air bleed in with this ?
dendrite
You've got low dewpoints and some radiational cooling too. Mid 40s this time of year isn't unheard of.

weathafella
The lows last night and highs yesterday with 100% sun were pretty anomalous. This is a cold push that would do any June proud. One thing I've noticed. When these summer cold pushes come without the confounding rain, just pure cold, it almost always gets blistering within a week. Looks like that happens this time as well. I'm wondering how hot it gets in places....some signals are robust.
