More thunder, a bit more cloudy. Coincidentally, thetiming is pretty identical to June 1 wrt the cells in western Franklin. They kept the grammar school kids late due to the storm. The bus gets here at 3:30--pretty similar.

Thunder, thunder, thunder.

No thunder here yet... but I probably won't be too far behind you.

I thought you had like 7 outbuildings? you can't park a car in any of those?

We were discussing hail damage at lunch today. One of my co-workers went to Texas A&M and her car was dinged up pretty badly in a hailstorm once. $3000 damage...

I saw some dime and nickel sized last night but would love to see some golf balls... or larger.

Same as my administrative asst (she's in Iowa). Her new car too.

I only have one outbuilding--the old blacksmith's shop in which we keep all our mowers, snowblower, tools, and general storage(actually it was not just his shop but also his one-room house, too. It's older than the Pit). What was a garage is now a comfortable 400' family room. It had a wood floor as it was built long before cars, so it would not have sufficed anyway.

Rumbles getting louder, Wunderground has the cell heading in this direction with 1.5" hail. Suddenly got dark.

ML lapse rates weakened out ahead of it

but this line is moving into VERY unstable air...extremely unstable, violently unstable.

Yea thinking about moving plants inside... any wind reports coming out of VT and NY yet?

Just got out of my daughter's pre-k graduation.lol Sky is very dark to the WNW, thunder is rolling and getting closer. Looks like an impressive and strengthening line. Bye Bye faux torch.
